      Summary: This app analyzes job automation risk using AI. To do so, it sends your job description to OpenAI's API and collects anonymous usage analytics via Firebase. We do not sell your data, create user accounts, or store your job descriptions after analysis is complete.

2. Information We Collect

2a. Job Description Text (Transient)

When you enter a job description and tap "Analyze," that text is sent to our backend (Firebase Cloud Functions) which forwards it to OpenAI's API to generate an automation risk assessment. Your job description is not stored in any database. It exists only for the duration of the API call and is discarded immediately after the response is returned to your device.

2b. Skills You Enter (Local Only)

Any skills you add on the Skills screen are sent to OpenAI's API to generate job recommendations. Like job descriptions, these are not stored after the analysis completes. They never leave the processing pipeline into a database.

2c. Anonymous Usage Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous, aggregated data about how the app is used. This includes:

Events: job analyzed, skills submitted, recommendations viewed, app reset
Associated metadata: risk level category (e.g. "High"), number of skills entered, analysis source (AI or offline)
Standard device information collected automatically by Firebase: device type, operating system version, app version, country/region

This data does not include the content of your job description or skills. It is used solely to understand overall app usage patterns and improve the app.

2d. Information We Do NOT Collect

No account registration — the app requires no sign-in
No name, email address, or contact information
No precise location data
No payment information
No photographs, microphone, or camera access

3. How We Use Your Information

Job description & skills: Solely to generate the AI-powered automation risk assessment and career recommendations you requested. Processed transiently, never stored.
Analytics data: To understand aggregate usage patterns, identify bugs, and improve the app. Never linked to a specific individual.

4. Third-Party Services

OpenAI

Your job description and skills are processed by OpenAI, LLC ("OpenAI") via their API to generate analysis results. OpenAI processes this data under their own privacy policy and API terms of service. OpenAI may use API inputs for safety monitoring but does not use them to train models by default under their API terms as of 2024. See: openai.com/policies/privacy-policy

Firebase (Google)

We use the following Firebase services provided by Google LLC:

Firebase Cloud Functions: Our backend that forwards requests to OpenAI. Hosted in the us-central1 region.
Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics. Google may process this data per Google's privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

We do not store your job descriptions or skills. Firebase Analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google's default retention settings. You may request deletion of analytics data associated with your device by contacting us.

6. Data Security

All data transmitted between the app, our backend, and third-party services uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Firebase Cloud Functions and OpenAI's API endpoints are served over secure connections. We do not have a persistent database containing your personal content.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Request access to, or deletion of, any personal data we hold about you
Opt out of analytics data collection (contact us to request device-level deletion)
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (EU/UK users)

Since we do not store job descriptions or create user accounts, there is generally no personal content to retrieve or delete beyond analytics events.

9. International Users

The App is operated from India. By using the App, you consent to your data (specifically, transient job description text and anonymous analytics) being processed in the United States where our Firebase backend and OpenAI's API are hosted. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place consistent with applicable data protection laws.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via an in-app notice.
